    Hello, I'm new here.
    Please, give me an advice
    I'm rescuing one S6 C4.
    The original oil thermostat is bad (035115429).slide valve with spring.
    I also removed it with a spring and the outlet for the oil cooler is blinded and I installed a Mocal board With a new larger cooler.
    Is that so right?

    Does the slide not have another function to regulate the oil pressure in the turbo?
    My problem is new repas turbo oil.
    Idle speed only.

    Hi Sir,

    Please confirm whether my (and hopefully others reading this) understanding of your post is correct.

    a) You have removed the 2 parts in your 2nd photo (items 10 and 11 from photo below) from the original T-stat housing and blocked off its 2 oil cooler line ports, yes?

    b) The original oil filter bracket (item 8 below) remains in place, yes?

    c) You have installed a Mocal sandwich plate (perhaps with its own T-stat?) between the filter and the oil filter bracket; to connect to the new cooler, yes?

    d) You are asking if your new installation sounds as if it will function correctly with your question "Is that so right?" Hopefully someone here who has done similar will pipe in.

    e) To your question "Does the slide not have another function to regulate the oil pressure in the turbo?", I would think not as I understand the stock turbo has journal type bearings, and would therefore require full oil pressure for them to function.

    f) Does your sentence "My problem is new repas turbo oil." perhaps mean '...no return turbo oil' or '...now return turbo oil' or ?

    g) Does your last sentence mean the above issue is occurring at idle only, but is fine above that speed?

        More questions sir:

        - Your concern now is no turbo return oil, yes?

        - Is the first photo (turbine hot section) perhaps showing an unfortunate amount of oil has been leaking into there, correct?

        - How are you detecting the return oil flow, perhaps with engine idling and the oil return line disconnected, yes?

              Turbo nyní odesláno do opravny turbodmychadel. Tak se uvidíme.
              Engine oil presure
              Cold 6bar idle speed
              Warm 1.5 bar idle speed
