      Thanks for that

Done a bit more research, there are 2 different TCU's for a S6 AAN. One ending in L and the other AL. I think there is a serial number break!!! Do you understand how it works? My cars serial number is WAUZZZ4AZVN007344
      L part number is F >>4A-T-030 000
      AL part number is F 4A-T-030 001>>
Does that make any sense to you?

SN = 1995 built in Neckarsulm
TN = 1996 built in Neckarsulm
VN = 1997 built in Neckarsulm

You therefore will want the AL part because it is after TN030001.

Im totally confused, my car (a 96 S6 Estate) has a TCU with part number 4A0 927 156 AP
(it has got 2 rows of terminals)
When ive researched on ETKA it should have part number 4A0 927 156 AL but when ive been on ebay looking, some of the listings are quoting my original part number (AP) saying its been removed from a S6!!!
Can someone with a late S6 auto (96 onwards) tell me what part number is fitted to there's

Well if they say that a 4A0 927 156 AP is from an UrS6 they are either lieing c^nts or somebody ahead of them did a switcheroo before they bought the UrS6. AP = AAH 2.8L V6 96 and later.
