Window drop

Hi,
I've recently bought a 2.8 cab and noticed the passenger side window doesn't drop when opening the door. The drivers side does.

Is this normal? I presume not so what could be the issue here?

Having owned b4 and b6 cabbies its only the b6 that drops when opening doors, but both derivatives will drop the glass when opening the roof

Thanks for the replies - it turns out the drivers door window doesn't actually drop as states by you gurus It sounded like it was but i actually marked the glass to check. I must cut back on the halucenagenics
