I have a very small rattle for about one second on the first start of the day. After that it no matter how many times I stat the car it does not rattle. it's been like that for many years. So I am not very concerned about its condition. The original chain has done 300,000KM from new.
As I will be changing the clutch, flywheel and crank flywheel seal in September when I get back from my 3-month holiday in the UK should I also do the timing chain overhaul.
Any advice on the timing chain kit and who to buy it from would help as I could buy it when I am in the UK.
