Well it's been a while, and lock down has brought out the Perfectionist in me again. There are no before's (it was already pretty clean) but the link below shows the result of approximately 9 hours work yesterday and today...

In no particular order:

• Wash - Autobrite Banana Gloss shampoo
• Dry - Microfibre drying towels
• Polish - Menzerna Medium Cut via Porter cable DA and foam cutting pad (4" or 3")
• Refine - R222 Paint Cleanser via Porter cable DA and foam finishing pad (4" or 3")
• Wax - First coat - Collinite 476
• Wax - Second coat - R222 Concours Carnuba Wax
• Door shuts - Menzerna followed by R222 Paint cleanser
• Leather - Autobrite Leather Cleanser
• Windows - Autobrite Glass polish
• Tyres & Plastics - Autobrite SuperSheen Exterior Dressing
• Wheels - didn't bother they need a refurb.

Very nice. I had a couple of 9000's back in the day. One was a Carlson special and went like the clappers!
SAAB make the most comfortable seats.

It was touch and go as to whether I was going to keep it last year. It needed some money spent on it to make it right and then the gearbox went.

Recently completed refurb list is as follows:

Fully poly bushed; Subframe, torque arm bush, wishbone bushes,
All new engine mounts
Remap for torque and economy
DPF delete
New clutch, slave and dual mass flywheel
New "old stock" gearbox
Bilstein B12 Suspension kit
Discs & pads all round
New Gear lever and handbrake gaiters
Alternator
HID dipped beam upgrade
Stereo upgrade, Kenwood Bluetooth HU, Kenwood 4 channel Amp, Kenwood Sub, Mac Audio Dash Speakers, Pioneer Door Speakers etc...

I am pleased I stuck with it now.

Thanks - it's mine, I have owned it for nearly 5 years now, and it has been a constant improvement process.

(I am not doing any part time detailing any more, I just don't have the time or the energy! )
