  • Wynns wheel cleaner on the S2's Avus

    Purchased some of this today...

The S2's Avus are far from mint, and the built up brake dust and stains were at odds with the rest of the car.

This was what they looked like before cleaning, it's quite hard to see, but the discolouration and build up of baked on brake dust was pretty heavy.

Anyway, spent about 15 minutes on each wheel and they looked like this...

The alloys still have their battle scars, (they were bought as a winter set of wheels and have started to 'live' on the car for some reason.

    I was very impressed.

The results look really good. On the strength on your recommendation I'm going try some of this for myself.

Don't tell everyone, but I bought it in 'The Range' outlet in Worthing, and it was £3.99 for a 1litre pot of the stuff, it'll last me all year

I was wondering whether it might be worth having a go with the dremmel one weekend and some silver paint... I bet I could get them looking better with a bit of effort... Oh, bu££er, we've started something now...

It's just the shoulder, it went through MOT less than 200 miles ago. But you're right, they'll be gone soon for some nice new T1R's....

That looks pretty impressive, I can never get the stain out of the corners.
