Why the hell would someone pay 15k for a so called "barn find" S2 that ain't moved for so long and half covered up?? I wouldn't!! Am all for our cars trying to sell for higher prices but as mentioned before are they selling and sadly the answer is NO! Good luck to all of them though Anyways, anyone fancy buying a minter for 18k

Dont understand the higher prices thing, just makes ownership more expensive, reduces the likelihood of them being bought to be enjoyed & you have to lose the car to see the financial benefit (& then not replace it like for like)

That S6 & rough S2 are totally daft. Nobody is going to choose either of those over an S6 V10 or TTRS/RS3. Yes they're not exactly the same but all 3 are just as special.
The TT & RS3 are full blown RS cars so are more akin to an RS2.
Could even argue the V10 S6 is more special just for its engine alone.

I was offered that 'barn find' through friends of friends and its been clocked its got no history with it. I confronted the fella about it who just had no answers and the advertno longer gives the plate number and hisdescription ia very cagey. This one i would avoid

And i have many better pictures of it including the reg if anyone needs a better judgement. The roof is the worst ive ever seen and the rear subframe is worse than expected. Not spoiling anyones sale thread but the price is ludicrous and its a bit of a pit
