Presume it is the one with a snapped cam?

Any idea what did it?

Yeah unfortunately that's the same car

Snapped cam is 99% sure to be timing belt slippage/failure, seen it many times

Will have bent a couple of valves as well at a minimum

I've got spare heads/engines if you need parts to repair it

Hi there yeah your probably spot on there. I m going to see another one at the weekend only a quarter version with very low miles.. So hopefully I,ll be on the road again with my own car instead of the wife's. And thanks for the offer and info too.
