There's a gorgeous black 1993 S2 Coupe for sale on eBay up in Glasgow for £19995 one owner from new the condition of the car looks amazing from the photos and very low miles if I had the spare money I would buy today as an investment!!! (NCTS)

I was waiting for "Driving this car is very much like making love to a beautiful woman" in the style of that Charlie Higgson sleazy car salesman character whose name escapes me - SWISS TONI !
Does seem a nice car - even though for all its wonderful genuineness it has had a busted speedo and engine rebuild.

Wheels and headlamps look incorrect for an L reg.

They used to be Buchanan Motors - they've had a few identities. My first S2 was also an L plate with that spec so it's not unusual. That spec you list started in the 1994 MY

My car is also an early ABY from '93, it too came with non elipsoids, orange indicators and 5 spoke wheels. It does look very nice though.

I should have clarified, L reg ie August 93 - July 94, Avus, ellipsoids and white indicators became the spec according to Audi S2 brochures dated 7/93 hence my query.
