1994 S2 Coupe
Emerald green metallic
123500 miles.
Black cloth interior.
Aircon has been removed.
This has been my project for the last 6 months. The underside and running gear has been overhauled extensively to a high standard.
The last owner had her ten years and the one before also ten.
She has been off the road a couple of times and dry stored. This is apparent from the mot history. The car is HPI clear.
I have done the following in the last 6 months.
Underside stripped and all rust cleaned. Bilt Hamber electrox zinc paint, epoxy mastic and seam sealer.
Subframes, wishbones, struts etc all professionally blasted and powder coated with a zinc primer then satin black top coat.
New heat shields remade.
New bushes throughout, lemforder and meyle used.
New Koni sports shocks.
New Sachs top mounts with Lago mount savers on the front.
New bump stops and gaiters.
New drop links.
New front steering ball joints and adjusters (lemforder). Steering rods blasted and painted.
New steering rod splash guards made.
All ball joint covers replaced and New grease.
New bolts all around (Alex)
New Porsche 912 gearbox mounts on gearbox and diff.
New seals on diff.
New stainless actuator pin and clevis.
New gearbox linkage bush (Alex)
Replacement cats
Scorpion stainless rear box
All fuel pipes replaced front to rear.
New fuel filter
New rear brembo discs and pads with new flex pipes. Rear calipers overhauled.
Front Porsche 996 calipers overhauled with new seals. New front Brembo discs and pads and Hel braided lines.
All brakes flushed and New dot 4 fluid.
New brake fluid reservoir heat shield.
New Sachs oe slave cylinder and New hel slave pipe.
Centre propshaft overhauled with new rear cv joint and new centre bearing.
All driveshafts overhauled with new grease and boots.
New wheelbearings front and rear, skf and FAG.
Everything underneath has been coated with Bilt clear wax underseal.
Wheels professionally refurbished and new Pirelli tyres.
OE Jack and tool kit.
Full engine service with gates cambelt, skf water pump and chef billet bottom pulley. New bottom pulley bolt and diamond washer and new vibration damper bolts. Oil flush and then Fuchs 10/50 oil. OE filters used throughout.
Gearbox oil changed.
Diff oil changed. New plugs.
PAS fluid system cleaned out and New fluid. One leaking pipe replaced with new. New seals on bomb.
Replacement oe tt boost control valve.
New silicone vac pipes.
Tsfi coil pack conversion.
New Bosch after run coolant pump.
New water rail pipe.
New stainless Norma jubilee clips where necessary.
New small to turbo water pipe in silicone.
New walher thermostat.
New old stock berh radiator.
Coolant flush and new anti freeze
Mark H mod on intercooler.
New oil cooler and Aux rad delete.
Door cards and headliner 're upholstered by professional.
Interior given a thorough clean, shampoo and tidy up.
Replacement newer style airbag steering wheel.
Elipsoid headlamps taken apart and cleaned.
Cluster has New LCD screen. No dial peel.
New carpet mats.
I'm sure I've missed stuff. I really went to town on this car and spent well in excess of £5k on her.
She passed an mot with flying colours this week with no advisories. I then took her for full Hunter laser wheel alignment. Both commented on how good a job had been done.
She drives really nicely. Boosts properly and pulls strongly. I believe the car has a mild chip upgrade. Possibly homefries?
There are one or two paint blemishes around the top of the windscreen and two very small dents on the rear offside d pillar. The front wings have been replaced and resprayed to a high standard. I have replaced all the door lower rubbing strips with new and all the door card seals.
There is slight crazing in the paint on the nearside rear bumper but it's hardly noticeable.
I'm missing a few interior trim covers and I need to repair the rear light switch which broke whilst removing.
I also noticed whilst working on the car that the front bumper had been repaired. Apparently the last owner hit a badger. The bumper looks fine but if you remove it you can see where its been repaired using fiberglass on the inside. If you are really concerned, I have a spare bumper I can include in the sale but it's blue.
So, I've really enjoyed working on her, about 500 hours I think. She owes me £17k and I will be happy to get that back. I hope she goes to a forum member so I can watch her progress.
I'm in West Wales. I have a lift so you are welcome to inspect the underside properly. I can pick up prospective buyers from the local station at Whitland.
