If that was mine I'd consider the garage to be the best place for it for the salty winter as well as the foreseeable future, you couldn't replicate it for the money your asking, not even close..

How it's not sold is mystery to me, if you fancy an RS2 but can't afford/don't like the £40K+ price tag then this is just as capable car for half the money with all the looks.

Thanks Kit, I suppose it's a bit of a niche market. Happy to keep hold of it and just use it as I have been for high days and holidays.....we'll see !

Same as ever, worth what someone will pay.We know what they should be worth, but just takes time to get that sale for the right money. It was a few years back, but I struggled to get £10k for my avant, which was pretty much a full RS2 replica, bar the engine block and gearbox....pretty much everything else was RS2,and I mean everything. Sadly exported. Now it would be a lot of money in parts....

The new owner is a lucky man, he's got a cracking car here and it's gone to great home. As it happens he's a friend/customer of mine so I'll get to see it in the flesh next week which I'm looking forward to.
