Again, 100% agree. Without a doubt I'd have this lovely example hands down over that early one which had obviously been clocked and I'm generally a 3B man when it comes to S2 Coupes as I prefer the five speed box, much smoother with better ratios for leathering it. The advert is really well written not AI crap which is good start and when one adds up all the work and parts that have recently gone into it I don't think a price in that region is unreasonable at all.

The mileage is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to these cars, overall condition and most importantly a comprehensive history are what's important.

I agree , unfortunately full service history on cars this age are few and far between so comprehensive invoices are the next best thing , I’ve just bought a mk1 rs3 to complement my s2 and that’s got main dealership history for 3/4 of its life but comprehensive invoices since

Am sure this one’s been for sale a few times over the last 4-5 years, an example like this should be fetching decent money ones like this are worth a min of 20k, there’s a few S2s for sale atm
