    95 S2 For Sale

I'm selling my beloved S2 !Again ! I tried selling her a few years ago, but no one was anywhere near my asking price. So I will try again on this site.

The car has only 2 owners from new, myself being the second owner. The original owner was a judge in Glasgow, who purchased the car new. The car was later stolen and recovered in 2005. I purchased the car as a CAT 'D' with full report. I know this is a bit of a grey area for some of you enthusiasts, but check through your local Insurance man and enquire about the various categories. Basically 'D' covers the stolen but recovered with no damage, which in this case is true. I've had the car nearly 4 years, and has been an absolute dream to drive. She's still in mint condition, although I got one of the rear panels re sprayed, due to an ASDA scratch, but the painter made an A*** of it. There are some stone chips on the bonnet, other than that mint. Inside is carbon coded, with glass sunroof. 106k on the clock. the battery dial is starting to peal, so that needs recovered or replaced. The remaing dials are still solid white. New timing chain done 200 miles ago, major service Sept 2009, 2 coils replaced and recon turbo, all at a cost of £1k. Feel free to email me for further detals.
The car can be viewed in Aberdeen anytime. Photos are on this site, but if you require more just ask.

    All I'm asking is £4500.

In response to LYT4X sarcastic comments (See below)

                        (HPi is an interesting system............

Mr Emirateslad, can I ask if you have been competely up-front with your description?

                        I didn't think HPi recorded ASDA scratches...........:mischeif
                        ***************
For one, what would you expect an HPI check to reveal?? that its just came off the trailer from Munich?? Like I said in my first post, some of you so called car buffs are pretty naive when it comes to knowing the distinction of category's. The car gets serviced at John Clark Aberdeen, its been inspected by them and by the AA, so I think they are in a better position to judge a car's history. Ive been up front from the beginning,so why the grief!!!!!!!!

There is probably a good reason for this.

Most of us 'so called car buffs' are decent people with nice cars and a healthy interest in maintaining them that way. We don't deal in dodgy motors with dubious history and therefore we are not well versed in the various categories which are commonly poured over on a daily basis by wolves seeking prey.
