Despite my leanings towards coupe's I'd bite your hand off in a second if i had the cash, very very nice avant. You should have no bother selling it.

Hope there are as nice examples as these recent ones going in a few months when i might have some dough!

Good luck with the sale, the car is a credit to you with the effort you have put in on the bodywork with detailing. It looks awesome with the deep shine it has. Looks like you could swim in it.

But, Ive got my eye on 3 possible replacements, so would like to have this sold in time for when I get my cash and be ready to buy one of them.

I just think that its too nice a car after seeing it at quattronutters to let it go this cheap, dest bide your time and you will get more for it, better replacements will come along trust me, s4's are common enough to be able to be picky.

If your after another avant this is a good one steve, well looked after and two ex forum members last of the line, worth the trip plus being a southern car the underneath will be in better condition than a scottish car. Surprised you sold your red one tbh.

Regarding price, I put it up for 3500 in the past and it created a lot of debate to say the least!
Ive done a LOT of thinking this time round, and due to my financial situation changing in my favour I can afford to let it go for 3k, which hopefully will give me a quick and hassle free sale

Regarding those 3 Pete, the Avant is definitly the one I'll go for first

Near side rear arch has these two bits, but its only surface, no rot

I am sure, I've got my fingers and toes crossed about a new car this week which will mean my Escort will soon be finished. I have second refusal so keeping positive that the first guy doesn't want to pay the asking price for it as I most certainly will !

I am sure you will enjoy dismantling this one a lot more than the previous cars though !
