While I agree that the for sale thread was probably the wrong place to put the comments, I disagree that the "attention" was out of order.

As was mentioned earlier, this kind of thing happens far too much on Ebay, yet sellers regularly get away with it. There are usually legitimate bidders in these type of auctions who instead of getting a real bargain, get sh@ft3d by unscrupulous sellers who try to get around Ebay's fees.

I am not suggesting for one minute that this forum member is guilty of said action, just stating as others have said that this type of activity is deplorable and totally against the real spirit of Ebay!! (and against Ebay's rules!)

              My point exactly
I thought the whole point of an internet forum was frank and open discussion of any subject. I didn't say anything out of order! (Just in the wrong place!)

would it not be an idea to have this frank
and honest discussion on another thread or by pm? Not on his for sake ad

Fair point to move discussion I think.

I agree too Gav which was the reason Jamo cleaned up the other thread (Hence my numerous referals to posts in the wrong thread), I was hoping a Mod would move it. This wasn't really a for sale thread, just a reference to a car for sale on fleabay which did not belong to the OP.

                    But point taken.
