That appears to be a retort to me though I would suggest you get your facts straight, the car was offered to me for a certain figure and the suggestion was for a quick sale that figure was negotiable, I didn't insult the seller with a "joke" offer as when I found out about the all RS2 parts it was obvious we weren't going to be close on the price.

I already have Bo - I thought long and hard about whether I should replace it or not, and decided it had to go as it was still a bit of a 'project' - which is not what I need with a newborn due any day!

So... what did I do? Bought an RS2 that needs a good bit of TLC

It could be put back to stock, would need lots of parts, original wing mirrors come with the car but that's it Would be a shame to though - it looks fantastic inside and out, it's driving better than ever at the moment and I'm finding mself trying to get the RS2 that is replacing it up to the same standard!

This is a fantastic car, looks great, sounds great, and just needs RS2 EM fitting, big turbo, injectors and a remap up to 450hp. Everything else has been done. If I could keep both...

Bump, and to say the car has a bosch 044 motorsport pump fitted too.

Open to offers as well, try me. I'd far rather sell it as-is to someone who appreciates what it is, than to sell off rs2 parts. Viewing can be arranged, am based in Swindon.

OK so this has now sold

I'm thoroughly gutted, I spent some time giving her a quick clean last night and took it out for a good thrashing. Boosting lovely to 1.4bar, no lag compared to the RS2 and just lots of fun in 2nd/3rd and getting a bit twitchy on the damp roundabouts. The S2 really is great car for sub 100mph fun!

Really thought about keeping it on, but the lad travelled down to look at it cash in hand, and came to a deal - slightly better for him that me I think! But he has intentions to up the power to match the looks; as daft as it sounds, that helped me to grit my teeth and shake on a deal.

Still think the car looked fantastic as I guided him to the nearest Shell station and I'm now trying to remind myself that it was, after all just a car... and it releases some funds to sort the RS2 exactly as I want it
