Trying to sell my old audi coupe, really selling as spares or repairs.
1995 Audi coupe in silver with nearly 115K on the clock. NO tax and MOT till mid april
Bodywork is overall ok apart from a rust bubble above the windscreen but it hasnt come through the paint just bubbled underneath, also the front bumper as a tear were the drivers indicator is as the boss in work towed a vehicle past it and damaged it. The car has a small dent on the N/S of the bonnet and the back bumper has stress marks in the paint. The car will also be fitted with orange indicators and side repeaters.
Interior is in good nick with no real wear, dark blue seats and 3 spoke steering wheel.
The car has been lowered 40mm on springs but the front shocks are getting worn, also the front lower arm bushes are worn.
Engine is very clean with no knocks or rattles and no oil leaks, the real down side is that I think the engine mounts are worn and the gearbox is on its way out as it starts to whine after 40mph and has alot of back lash although the clutch is fine. The after run fan is on constantly as the relay is corroded.
Standard 15" alloys with 4 good tyres, 2x BF Goodrich on the front and 1x BF and 1x Wanli on the back.
I believe the heater matrix is also leaking no real damp in the car but if you turn the heaters on the windscreen mists up and there is a smell of anti freeze, there is a small loss of coolant and I can see small traces under the heater box so im just just to this conclusion.
The car recently had a new centre exhaust section and a new O/S/F track rod end.
Here are some old pictures, ill get some more in the daylight probably be next weekend now.
Like I said earlier in the post Im selling this car as spares or repairs and it will need trailering away from my house in Anglesey, North wales.
The only reason this car came off the road is because the tax ran out and I had recently bought my S2 and have a work van for everyday use.
I have a v6 bumper but it needs spraying if anyone wants this with the car but i would want £100 on top really to cover the cost of the bumper.
If there is no interest in the car after a few weeks then I will break the car as I want a couple of pieces myself.
This is not advertised any were else yet as I thought I would offer anyone on here first.
