    Right here we go,

    Firstly hi to everybody (i'm new on here). I have my 90 20v Quattro for sale. It's black, it's a bit dented and shabby here and there but would make a great basis for a track car or a daily driver tidy-upper.
    Firstly the bad bits;

    I saved this car from somebody's driveway over a year ago. It had been sat for 18months and has suffered some rust in the boot on the rh side where the strenthening piece joins the floor - basically it don't join the floor no more!. The boot floor is not holed though. The diff switch and abs do not work - i think it's that large relay under the dash which i haven't got round to changing. The headlining is sagging on the sunroof and a few bits of interior trim need re-attaching but nothing heavy.

    Good bits;
    Mechanically this car is strong - I've had timing belt, waterpump, aux and pas belt + the large ccv hose replaced (new kit from audi - very pricey!) it's also had new knock sensors, fuel filter and air filter + fresh semi synth. I also put a set of 80 alloys on it with ok'ish tyres which are a bit large in their profile so rub a bit if you push on round corners.

    It's got about 4/5 months MOT left on it and 3 months tax i think.
    So there we are not the prettiest example in the world but would make a really good daily driver that you can depend on - which i have been. The reason i am selling is that i've decided i am keeping the B2 Passat GL5 which i have become so fond of and my wife has her b5 2.8 syncro wagon if it's gets snowy again.

    Pricewise I will take £700 or thereabouts.

    Regards

    DERV

    Now can somebody tell me how the hell i put pics on here!

    Nice to see you on here Derv, good luck with the sale and sorry I didn't make it round to take a look. Decided i'll need an oil/chipfat burner for wheels in the future.

    Seen this car in person (?) and looks like a nice little runner

    I upload photos to photobucket.com and use the little image icon ^ above to add the URL links from there.

                  Out of curiosity, I saw a black one for sale way up in Lancashire a few months back, would this be the same one?

                    What spec is it cos don't look like its got rear electric windows or the 3 center gauges? Has it got trip with fuel eco and range? Is it just 'S' spec with quattro 20v? Thanks
