Posted as a heads-up (I'd like to give the forum first dibs on the offchance anyone is interested).
The car is a 57 plate Audi A6 with the 3.0TDI engine and 6 speed tiptronic gearbox.
Quattro 4 wheel drive (proper quattro on the A6, not Haldex).
Has the S-Line trim inc. full leather seats and slightly firmer suspension.
Covered just over 40k miles (will confirm exact figure).
Features:
- Front Fog Lights
- Heated Front Seats
- Automatic Air Con
- Sat Nav
- 6 CD Changer (in glove box)
- Multi-function Steering Wheel
- Cruise Control
- Electronic Parking Brake
Optionally comes with a Superchips Bluefin, which should take power to near 275 and a torque to 500nm, with a slight increase in fuel economy, too. Let me know if you want this, or if you want the stock map.
Full Audi service history, recently serviced by Leeds Audi.
Mostly used for mid to long journeys, so hasn't been stopped and started all the time. Always warmed up properly.
Never been in an accident. Front passenger window has been replaced due to break in - slight cosmetic damage to seal, but functions fine and unnoticable unless you're looking for it.
Had a dent in the nearside-rear shoulder - this was fixed by Rob (GT500). Anyone who's delt with him on here knows he doesn't mess around - it's been repaired to the highest standard and there's no way of telling it ever happened, I'm just pointing it out because I don't like to hide things.
It's debadged at the rear and has a silver Nürburgring sticker on the nearside boot lid. It was taken gently round the 'ring for 4 laps in 2009, so no, it hasn't been used as a track slag! Original badges will be provided for anyone who prefers them on (I don't). The ring sticker can be removed with an appropriate solvent (but don't tell me you've done so - I'll cry).
All in all, makes a fantastic luxobarge. Nothing like the diesels of old, it's plenty responsive and revvy. Really excels at motorway work - will happily cruise at whatever you like while keeping some power left in reserve. Handles itself well for its size - it's not a small car, but it doesn't feel as big as it is. Enormously spacious and luxurious inside.
Honestly, I'm genuinely sad to see it go
, but we are moving to Germany and so will need something with the controls on the wrong side.
£17,900 - open to sensible offers! Car is in Leeds for viewing purposes.
