Could be a bit confusing, I wonder what the "real" plate is ?

There was nearly an Interceptor in my my List Of Cars What I've Owned.*

The brother of a colleague at work in the early eighties wanted to trade his Interceptor for my V6 Granada. Straight swap - all £1100 worth of it. Drove up to meet him, drove his Jensen, he drove the Granny and all looked set. Then he said he'd think about it and call me on Monday. By Monday the deal was off.

      *I know it's not grammatical, it's Eric and Ernie-esque.

The first owner had a cherished plate on it for all six weeks he had it, so no original plate. Six weeks? It wasn't long anyway. The next owner had M5 FUN on it for some reason and Neil had the nondescript M plate that was on it when I bought it. I was half heartedly looking for a plate that could have come from the original dealers at the time it was first registered when I found M22 ADU.

        That'll do, I thought.

wouldn't have thought this one would be up for sale! That's a lovely mint RS2. What's with all the RS2's coming up for sale this past couple of weeks. If I didn't already have one, this would be it...

All the more reason to have an RS2! I can fit 2 baby seats in the back comfortably, with a double pram and afternoon of shopping in the boot

It'll also get all the required stuff to the hospital in record time when required

Avants are THE car for a daily once you can supply the petrol.

four doors, tailgate for buggies etc.

Very nice example of an RS2 btw, lack of a quick £12k is the only thing holding me back.

Automotive situation has evolved a bit and now I'm open to offers for the old girl, I want it to go to a good home.
