Coupe for Sale(ish)

Not much changed since then!

I've added:

• New CV boot NS-Rear
• New 034MS (Track) Top Mounts
• New track rod ends
• Replaced front wheels with Avus reps (one failed a la pothole)
• Has 4 NEAR NEW Continental Sport Contact 3 Tyres
• New heated screen waiting to be fitted - currently being held onto by James down South... but it'll have your name on it if you buy the Coupe. Worth a few hundred bob!

The bad stuff:

• Fuel lines need replacing.
• Back calipers + pads need replacing immediately.
• One of the top mounts may have gone again - can hear some movement when going over particularly bad speed bumps.
• The front wheels might benefit from spacers.
• Will need a new battery at some point - working fine for now, but just head's up.
• Slight bubbling spots on arches etc. - nothing unusually bad, but could do with touching up.
• Using/losing a very small amount of all. Worth looking into.
• Wiper relay will need replacing for intermittent to work properly.
• Air con - will need investigating - not working properly.
• No alarm, central locking disconnected - can be easily resolved if adding new alarm.

Sounds like a long list, but they're not expensive jobs - and I'm not trying to hide them like a lesser man might

All problems can be sorted fairly easily by someone with garage/space. I lack said facilities right now.

Footnotes:

• I will be keeping the Audi Zentrum Ingolstadt number plate surrounds.
• Car has plasma gauges fitted - I will be keeping these.
• Car is high milage, but since it's had a head rebuild last year, the engine is running spot on.
• Taxed for 6 months now - MOT due later this month - will need replaced rear calipers to get through
• Overall, needs a little TLC, but great car with plenty of potential.

Reason for sale: I want to buy Lee's avant!

I'm asking £4995. Since I'm after the avant, I can't accept offers, unless you want to talk Lee down on his price. I don't care as long as I get the avant

Reason for swap to slipperwagon: More luggage space, saves me a few jobs on the coupe, makes me feel more mature.

For sale exclusively on the S2Forum - not desperate to sell, still love it to bits, but will sell to gain slipperwagon if possible!

After typing all that I feel kind gippy at the prospect of selling it.

Edit: Now I'm thinking of selling it and keeping the cash - could do with it, then just getitng another S2 later when business is better.

If your going to get another one at some point, keep this known quantity and sort the issue's, or sell and get lee's that needs no work.

That is an optional extra and the box wasn't ticked when my car was ordered from new, but I will through in a flatcap.
