Audi A6 2.7T Avant quattro Tiptronic in Ebony Black Pearlescent. Reg. 25/11/1999 V Plate. 3 former keepers, first being West London Audi, being a demo model when new. 140k miles, full service history. Tax until end of Feb 2012, MOT until 07/02/2012. Just had new genuine Audi discs/pads fitted (£577.13)29/06/2011 at 138,177 miles. Full timing belt/water pump and all the other bits related done at last service 14/12/2010 at 133,834 miles. The all important ATF and filter replaced in May 2009. This car has got a very high spec, being an ex dealer demo. It has the following factory fitted optional extras, BOSE sound system (£363.08), 6CD Autochanger (£403.03), Automatic dipping rear view mirror (£146.88), Automatic Tiptronic Transmission with DSP (£1,627.38), Elecric Tilt And Slide Pre Select Glass Sunroof (£1,021.08), Front Centre Arm Rest (£173.90), Safety Storage Net (£70.50), Satellite Navigation System Plus/TV (£3,231.25), Heated Front Seats (£353.68), Recaro Fully Electric Seats as per S6/RS6 (£1,130.35), Tiptronic Steering Wheel Controls (£92.83), Through Load Facility (Ski Bag) (£169.20), Onyx (Black) Full Leather Trim (£1,633.25) and Xenon Headlights With Washers And Automatic Adjustment (£940.00). These options were on top of the already hefty £34318.45 list price when new. Private A6 Plate included. Very reluctant sale, pics will be added later, once I have given it a clean/polish. It is in very good condition, drives spot on, with lots of receipts etc. All handbooks/wallet correct and present. but does have the odd mark, although much better condition than the average V Reg A6. Bad points are the common missing pixels in the computer display which seems to affect a lot of R-X Reg A6s, average 20MPG fuel consumption and Group 18 Insurance. Mine was nearly the same spec as yours, cracking car. If it wasnt for the fuel consumption I would never have sold it.

It's not the fuel consumption that is the problem for me, I have just moved to a Liverpool postcode, and the insurance has more than doubled. Not prepared to pay it, so I have downgraded to a 1.9 TDI.

that must be some massive insurance premium increase over the saving you get between 20mpg and 50mpg
