I've decided to sell my daily driver and just use my S2. My wife has recently bought a people carrier so we don't need 3 estate cars (and the S2 is going nowhere).

Car is 1997, has 165k, 4 electric windows, Air-con\climate control, Remote locking etc.

Bodywork is very good, no rust about it but bumpers have a few scuffs

Engine going well, if I'm honest it is slightly underpower, I have de-catted it and have chips for the ECU (not fitted)

Work been done to the car over last couple of years:

All 4 shocks replaced along with top mounts, new gaiters (from Audi)
New springs (eibach)
1 new Rear caliper this year, 1 new last year
New rear discs\pads this year
Timing belt, tensioner and water pump changed at 146K
new vacuum pump fitted this year
new heater mitrix

I also fitted a cruise control stalk but never got round to making the loom and enabling on the ECU.

MOT is to the end of June 2012, car is on SORN

The car wont win you any races but is good, cheap, comfortable and reliable motoring.

Can't believe you're not keeping a second car on the button in the background when using an S2 as a daily.

I am, just not this one. At present we have 5 cars, the S2, a Tiger kit car, an 80 cabby, a ford galaxy (not my idea) and this A6. One had to go, we thought about the cabby but the wife really wants to keep it (can you blame her with a people carrier).

This was our family bus but that role has now gone to the galaxy. TBH I don't really want to sell it, I had considered storing it away at my parents place but it'll just rot away over the years .
