Right guys,i'm just testing the water here really...
long story short my works van died...so ive had to put the s2 on the road for the time being,but its proving just too much to run..and this is after only a couple of weeks
so the options are sell it or break it...and i really don't want to do the latter tbh...
Right..the car:
93' aby coupe in dark blue
151k on the shell...but shes solid
Its had a replacement engine with around 120k on it...although i cant prove the mileage
bodywork is tatty...the front bumper and boot are still in primer,theres a scrape on the passenger side door wich runs into the wing,also a dent in the rear quarter.
The driverside rear arch has started to bubble,theres also a few other scrapes and scratches,tbh it's not bothered me...the intention was always going to be to use the car on track so cosmetics fell low on the priority list.
12 months mot,6 months road tax
flew through the mot,the only advisory being the exhaust is quite loud
Heres a random list of what its got:
stripped out
2 corbeau boss bucket seats
omp replica steering wheel
plasma dials
17" o.z alloy wheels powdercoated black,with 2 p zeros,and 2 proxes...all with very little wear
lowered
044 fuel pump
440cc injectors
k26/27 hybrid turbo
large intercooler
forge dual port bov
roose maf+tb hoses
3" turbo back exhaust,200 cell cat,single box,side exit.
Rs2 em (not in the best condition though)
ecu chipped...this setup should make near enough 400hp
sm 7a flywheel...freshly skimmed
southbend clutch
poly bushed suspention arms and diff mount
whiteline rarb
Theres also some service history,receipt and old mot certificates.
ill add more as i remember..and get some pics up!
Basically...its not finished although its fully useable,theres a few niggles to sort out,
the brakes NEED upgrading!...and better suspention won't go a miss,the mfts also needs replacing.
But its all there...and a very good basis for an easy project.
Taking all that into account ill happily take £3000 ovno
Theres that in bolt on parts...i guess the car is a bonus
Im looking for a decent diesel car,ideally an estate...so theres an option of a p/x
