lol bibby's old car, the one he said he was breaking recently. Thought this sold on ebay last week?

It was on eBay but the reserve was not met. I have re listed it on eBay now at a lower price and I am open to offers.

Joke this was being broken, I agreed to buy loads of bits then heard nothing. This ca5r sold for 2500 back in the begining of the year. Its got loads of lacquer peel. It also had a top end rattle! I recommed that who ever buys looks at first long and hard!

Don't know mileage!!! Try 186K+ That was 18 months ago when I looked at it in Bournmouth since then its had 2 more owners! Either the seller has been totally ripped off or is a ?

The bushes, engine noise and brakes have since been sorted. However I will be taking it off the market until the mileage issue is sorted.

Found that forum minutes before and i found this thread....scared now...

Is it about that ebay# 280798318736 ?

I´m going to collect that car in a few days and only know the ebay text and 186k mileage...and it should run fine...nothing more...

Please let me know everything you know about that ebay car...had send 100GBP deposit allready...

Own allready a ´96 stock, just chipped S2 Coupe since two years and several another Quattros.
As the distance is very high, the text sounds good and honest and the emailcommunication was good i was going to do it without seeing the car before.

I realy hope you can help me.

I was also interested when i saw that car on ebay , I made a deal over ebay and then quickly researched the car here , and found all the info about the mileage and and the top end egine issue.

needless to say it put me stright off the car.

These cars are old and do need love but id rather buy from someone who has loved the car before I was buying it

What is an top end engine issue? Or what is the problem with this car exactly?
