Ask somebody near to it, or you who knows their S2s to look at it with you.

Can't harm you, no cost to you to look, and you can only learn more about S2s, and possibly make a new friend.

im pretty close to it , but would rather buy off a forum member who has shown a car some love for the la st few years ownership I find it quite odd that that guy would rather Flea bay it than try and sell through a respected forum/owners site

My experience of ebay cars is that theres always something that there hiding ( havent been proven wrong yet)

but im just cruising at the moment and then i will go on a mad viewing session and u never know i could even take a small holiday too scotland!:mischeif:

Cheeky little Fontain sale there!

Standard Fontain pictures up against the White Walls.

Dont personally like them myself,although the car looks straight.

If I bid and won, I would be all over it like a rash.
And pull some crap on it.

I had to take my blu Rs2 there for an inspection when I sold it.
I knew it was pretty faultless, bar a leak from the rad which the seller knew.

Fontain pulled it to pieces - radiator £500, rusty knackered rear roll bar £300,
aftermarket aero wipers - genuine from ,Vagparts, causing damage to screen and motor -£100
Nob -ends.
I told the vendor it was a waste of his inspection money, although it gave him some leverage to try and barter...

I await the reply.
I very much doubt they will post it on eBay!

I would pay close attention to the rack if the seller says it makes a noise, probably a groaning one.

In my opinion it is worth a look (depending on distance etc), however as always buyer beware.
