Ive decided i have to let my mk2 go 
, so im putting a feeler out.
She's a 1986(D) rare 3-door pre-facelift 16v (depicted by 7 slat grill, quarter light doors, different badges, LHD wipers, no PAS amongst other things.) in Alpine White.
I spent a lot of money on her in 2008, i bought, rebuilt and fitted a 6A engine from a Audi 80 sport, tuned and RR'd by Stealth racing. New suspension brakes, all ancillaries and servicables. And a few cheeky performance/reliability mods. (can add more detail if interested) She's quick! and has done approx 15k miles since. Mechanically she couldnt want for anything.
Basically i took her off the road over 1 year ago because i intended to fully respray her. She has been a victim of "too much love" in the past and her paint is shot, its thin and porous. I basically dont have the time with buying a house and my job demands increasing (its taken me over 2 years to get the S2/CQ ALMOST back on the road).
I had provisionally sold her 6 months ago and have been holding onto her for a "freind" but he has just told me he doesnt have the space any more.
The last year of sitting has not been kind. And anybody wishing to buy her must be under no illusion it either needs respraying, or if your not bothered about prettyness, then she'd be a great track whore.

Please note she is not as pretty as she looks in the pictures in the thread above. quite a few rust spots have come through due to the thin paint.

I want to get £950ono for her, much less and i'll hang tight in the hope i get the time. She'll only increase in value.
