Saddens me to do this but I have no space or time for it anymore and the place where it is being stored can no longer keep it so the project in its unfinished state has to be sold. Preferably as a whole as it would be nice to see it finished in the same token if no interested parties everything on it will be for sale in parts. I got parts to bolt a 4 pot to it but there is space in the bay for an I5 or V6.
I'm looking for £2500 ono for it exactly as seen on the following photos including a mk5 dash with build in touch screen as in the build thread however excluding the items listed separately below. Anyone with a bit of common sense will see that the parts alone tally well above that let alone the time and effort to get the car converted.
To finish the car it requires someone with fabrication skills to change the front suspension from Audi 80 to MK3 capri mcpherson struts and steering which is what it went away for to get done before everything went wrong as per the build thread here Rear Wheel Drive MK1 project.
For sale extra to the £2500ono price tag are
The Aluminium Kirkey Seats £415 Each including covers
Flywheel and twin plate clutch with motor plate adapter to allow Gti Style block to fit to gearbox in the car £500
3" platinum Simpson Race Seatbelts £250.
The bonnet and wings are fibreglass, the window rubbers were all purchased brand new during the build of the project, the windscreen is a pilkington item toptint and no scratches as never used, rear quarters and rear tailgate glass are perspex, there is new headlining, custom doorcards (alpine speakers not included) one of the chrome mirrors has gone missing. All the locks are matched to one key, there is a custom fusebox and immobiliser along with brake bias line lock, fuel pump fuel cell with sender etc...... literally too much to list but you'll get the idea from the build thread and the pics below.
I'm trying to locate the original v5 logbook for the car however worst case scenario this can be applied for on the chassis no and number plate of the car.
Car Location is Luton
Interested parties should contact myself via email: jnlracing@googlemail.com or pm
These are the pictures of how the car stands at the moment including all the damage I can think of
