    S2 Coupe 3B 361 ps

Well seeing as my last for sale advert was dog and did the car no favours what so ever i thought rather than trying to ammend it I'd just start a new thread.

I'm not known for my english skills and was always told at school i waffled so if you get bored of reading the advert ill give you a quick overview. Basically its got 4 months MOT and 6 months tax, has 103000 miles and a full service history. Its had over £6000 spent at MRC in the last 3 years and is now running 361psi. The paintwork isn't mint but is also not what I'd call ruff, probably about right for a car over 20 years old.

Now for the patient ones amongst you I'll begin my poorly spelt and punctuated advert, where I will probably waffle on!

The car was bought by my brother on 1/09/2006 from Manchester. It had been modified previously to RS2 spec giving the car 313bhp. This is how i stayed for 2 years untill my brother longed for more power, he got his best mate (an Audi mechanic) to take the engine out for abit of a rebuild. This was all done at his place of work not on the drive i must add. He stripped the engine down and rebuilt it with new Pistons, Cat Cams, reground Crank, Scat Rods. The head was slightly skimmed and had it all polished. The clutch also got sent away to be Kevlar coated. The car was already running an RS2 Turbo, RS2 Exhaust Manifold and full Scorpion De-Cat exhaust so no need for any change here. The Aircon pump was also removed at this stage because he planned on running a reverse manifold but as you'll find out funds never allowed!

When the engine was back in my brother decided the best place to get it running right was MRC Tuning. They got the car MOT'd and up and running. As Doug considered it a 'new' engine he told my brother to run the engine in for 750/1000 miles then bring it back for a full remap. The bill for this work was £1947 which to be honest drained my brother of his savings. However he ran the engine in as he was told but it developed a slight boost leak, as he was all out of money and didnt want to damage the engine he simply parked it up as work and left it.....This would have been roughly April 2009.

Fast forward 2 years and he'd purchased a MK3 Golf with a MK5 R32 engine in and seemed to have fallen out of love with the old Audi This is where i step in to save the day. After alot of persuasion and haggling i managed to purchase the S2 off him (much to my ex mrs' dis approval as i spent my house deposit savings getting it running.....thinking about it maybe this car is the reason the relationship failed?) Any way i digress.

    ^^^Coming home ^^^

I dont like to mess around so it was sent straight back to MRC Tuning firstly to see whether it was worth doing or whether I'd be better breaking it. Luckily on inspection Doug suggested we stick it through an MOT just to see what work would be needed to make it roadworthy. After a couple of retests it was legal The mammoth task of getting the car running to its full potential then insued. They were stupidly busy as usual so progress was annoyingly slow. They had the car in all for 2 months and at the end i was greated with a bill of £4119 but a 361psi Audi :mischeif: They had fitted an RS2 Intercooler, RS4 Fuel Pump, 600cc Injectors, a new Throttlebody, all new ignition components, new rear disks and pads and a Stage 3 Remap. Amongst alot of other things.

Ive had the car on the road now for 6 months without any dramas to speak of. That said sometimes after heavy acceleration if you come to a stop the engine will struggle for an idol and sometimes stall. This isnt a massive problem as I'm aware of it so just feather the throttle as i come to a stop. Also when under heavy load the oil and temp warning lights flash on the dash eventhough it always has ample amounts of both.

Cosmetically the car isn't immaculate with the bonnet, drivers door and rear wing slightly faded. The rear spoiler is also faded and has a scuff, which ideally needs filling and spraying. There are a few patches of laquer peel around the car.

The inside boasts a full black leather interior and i believe whats called carbon inserts?? It also has poppy out electric rear windows. Unfortunately the drivers door is missing its bottom storage thingy

It has an aftermarket CD player and Infinity speakers throughout, not really my thing but they are quite loud and seem good quality.

This is a geniune sale by somebody who has spent a small fortune and if funds allowed would park this up in a garage untill i could afford a full respray to get the car back to showroom condition. I now have to use the car to commute to work and back everyday which just isnt a viable option im afraid and my mesely wages wont stretch for a second car. That said I have applied for a few new jobs which are much better paid so if i get 1 of them the car will be staying with me!

The price Im going to ask is £5000, im aware there are S2's around for half that price but the lowish miles of this car and engine work put this in a different league I believe. That said I do expect people to make offers, after all its a buyers market at the moment but please dont insult me Ill now leave you with some pictures, i do have RS4 replica wheels that can come with the car at no extra cost but need a refurb and new tyres.

Well 361psi will certainly get peoples attention, lol.

GLWS anyway, but you might want to change the psi to just PS.

I think you meant 361ps so about 356hp.

Good luck with the sale anyway.

It's lowered on H and R springs and has new disks and pads all round but on standard brakes, I know they're not ideal but do cope. I don't drive it hard enough to warrant big Porsche brakes really.

                              Don't put it in eBay mate, it won't go over 2200. A 480bhp rs4 spec b5 s4 just sold for £2650!
