Audi s6

[Acidburn]

I'm having an attempt to cut down on the amount of cars I own

low milage audi s6 auto 2.2 turbo
milage is 111853 (this has gone up by around 10-15 miles as I drove it home earlier)
heated cream leather interior and both seats work fine
cruise control all working
trip computer
sony cassette headunit with 10 disc changer
hp2 brakes with nearly new discs/pads
service book has been stamped up to 102k
mot till the 23rd november 2012
tax till end of november 2012
loads of history and all the books to go with it
aircon/climate still blows out ice cold air
two keys with the car
proper wallet for the history etc

bad points

some scratches, a dent and some laquer issue's on the bonnet - this could be swapped as its a colour that comes up often being broken
ignition barrel sometimes don't click back but has been like this for a while
advisory on a bush on the mot and a drop link (will check this)
one of the bulbs on the dash is out (lower one on rev gauge, the gauge still lights up fine apart from this)
small dint in rear bumper as shown below
It does have a key for the remote central locking but think the battery needs changing

Yeah must admit tho its nice being an auto and still goes well. I'd just rather use the funds from this towards the ur quattro's replacement.

when i sold my black URS4 i took an S6 in p/x that was identical to this colour and trim wise........ but rotten, thats what motor is in my A4

i know the autos drive nice and make the torque so so well handled.

but it had to be manual for me lol

Another post hijack / free bump.

I have one of these autos in navy blue with black leather and black chrome.

The auto can be driven like a DSG. Love mine and it’s so good it’s giving me doubts about my two B4 S2 Avants.

Somebody should snap it up, tidy the bad points you’ve indicated, have it chipped by Prj, stick on mk 1 S8’s, and then cherish it, they won’t be disappointed.

It also takes baby seats, and buggies no bother.

Very discrete.

yeah I must admit its effortless to drive, I could be tempted to swap it for an s2 if one comes up.

indicators and rear 1/4 window stickes look identical!

i so so regret getting rid of mine, but if i hadnt delt it, i wouldt have my A4 AAN`d...........
black URS4 or Noggy S6............ **** yeah!

i dont care what car you put up against these UR 100/A6`s the build quality has nothing that comes close to it, maby an A8 but even mercs (**** interiors) Rolls/bentleys (mechanicaly shocking, work on one!) 5/7series, well, no more said!

no mate,I had the car(s4) before Pete,i think it was a J reg(although I did buy it from very close to you,clapton I think it was), he sold it onto someone else and they broke it up,shame as it did look nice.The engine from that went into a 90q

your old one looks good with those wheels on,according to the dvla that car is still on the road

Shame about that car, if i'd have known i'd have kept it. Bodywork was brilliant once quattronutter had done that spare bootlid for it.
