I'm trying to get rid of the above coupe. It has nearly 2 months T&T left, but needs so much work doing to get it through the MOT.
Good bits....
new rear discs and pads
nice colour (indigo blue)
S8 replica alloys in ok condition
99% of the electrics work (rear wash wipe doesn't work)
Still looks lovely
2 good tyres
Bad bits
needs new CV joints, TRE's, idle control valve, possibly new cat,
needs air inlet area looking at,
possibly needs new coil pack on a cylinder or 6 (not sure, but engine doesn't like racing away from the lights and sounds lumpy),
small dent in bonnet,
lower driver side door trim is starting to peal off,
nearside rear wing must have been damaged/replaced because there's some corrosion coming through on what I can only guess is a welding seem,
Oil was spilt onto passenger seat. I know, total tool.....
Basically he needs someone who will either strip him and sell for spares, or someone who has a few quid lying around and wants to fix up a modern day classic.
I have become so attached to the car, but I've been offered an ex company Octavia TDI estate for peanuts so he has to go.
