Not sure if anyone on here is interested but theres a cheap little 1997 Golf Cabriolet project thats going cheap. Was lined up for a mate who was going to strip the front end out and rebuild with a 2.9 VR6 engine and it was going to be for his girlfriend but hes lost the use of a workshop so it can go. Basically the car has light front damage ie lights, bumper o/s wing etc but still drives. Its an avantgarde so has electric roof, heated seats, alloys etc. Car runs fine has the 2.0 engine with 113k on manual gearbox. Tax til end of the month and mot til early 2013. He had priced the bumper and bits up from a local breakers at less than £100 so cheap to sort if you have the time and space. Car is down in West Sussex and was looking for £300 for a quick hassle free sale. Drop me a pm if interested or you have any questions
