    1996 Nogaro Blue S6 Avant - RS2 Spec

    Hi,

Due to too much stuff needing Taxed and Mot'd i'm having a clear out, so "Big Blue" is up for sale. Spec below.

1996 S6 Avant 117k, just serviced inlcuding belt/waterpump etc. This is a late 96 car so is pretty much s6+ spec including a full set of 5 wheels, black chrome kit and black headling. It has blue/black 1/2 leather seats with electric fronts and are in really good order, slight wear to the drivers bolster but not much. 4 good tyres, I fitted 2 new ones recently. I bought the car as a weekend /toy and converted it to the spec below. It is very clean bodywork wise although has a few marks about it. Bonnet has small paint bubbles, blisters. All electric windows work, sunroof etc. Has towbar too.

    Engine:
Pretty much RS2 spec but using Volvo K24-7400 Turbo
    RS2 EM and injectors
Modified Air Box with Panel Filter
1.8T coilpack conversion with Carbon cover
Frount mount intercooler and stainless pipework with silicone hoses
3" Downpipe with V-band fiiting for turbo and full system, pretty loud, but bearable, spare Lambda sensor for mapping
I'd say it's doing 350bhp, pulling 27-28Psi and holding to 21-22 at full revs.
Car was live mapped by S2central

I bought alot of new parts from 034/Audi this year including engine mounts, full gasket set for the RS2 stuff. I have receipts for this.

This is link to the project thread : http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56706

Any questions/pictures or more info needed just ask. Car is located 20 miles from Belfast, i'm happy to collect anyone from airports etc. I also have a 2 post lift at the house so you can have a proper look about it if needed.

    Ivan

Sorry forgot Price : £4200 ono. Would consider a PX against something VAG, pertrol or diesel pref estate, eg. A6 Tdi quattro (C4 shape).

If it was 3 years ago, i didnt have a house (which needs a new kitchen) and 3 cars already i would have taken the trip.

This is a lovely looking car. I'd offer you a swap for my wifes tt in for sale section but think she would castrate me.! You could argue she could move the family and dog around..
I'm certain you will sell this easy.

Last time I checked, Belfast was part of the United Kingdom.

                Think you mean mainland.

God,I'd love that, it's just about my dream car and as you know I'm local to you.

Same boat as yourself tho Ivan, house, 4 cars and 3 kids

Dont suppose you'd fancy a part ex on an S2 avant or a 98 cabby, or failing that a 9, 6, or 2 your old kid? The wee ones are great for polishing low down bits on the car Higher running costs that the S6 or the S2 tho, that's the drawback.

gunmann: cheers for the offer, but I too have a 6 month old, hence the sale. BTW, you bought the C4 TDI quattro from me a few years ago, did you keep it long?

No, I sold it and my 2wd A6 as we ended up buying a 7 seater people carrier for all the kids . I miss them.

I just don't think I could stretch to buying your car unless I sold my S2 first and your's will probably sell long before mind would.

Good luck with the sale, I'd love to see your car but under the circumstances it's probably safer if I don't!

Good luck with it Ivan. If you are going the LPG route I'd get as big a tank as you can fit, I had an Audi 80 16v a few years back with a donut tank in the spare wheel well, was about 40l capacity but as you start with it full of air you could only get about 37l of gas in there, the small range did my head in and I parted with it in the end as I ended up running on petrol as much as LPG. There are probably more fuel stations doing LPG now tho.

Personally I wouldn't go for a donut tank but get a large cylinder installed behind the rear seats.

                          Anyway, enjoy it.

Cheers, yeah I sold the Toledo (1.8T) which I ran on LPG for over 70k with no problems. It had a 64L tank in it. DieselDes on this forum has his URS4 on LPG, think I can fit a 74L tank in spare wheel well. I will just go for the donut tank, never really had any bother and I use the car with the seats flat for bikes etc.

                            Cheers
