A change in circumstances has forced me sell my cherished S2.
Spec is as follows;
N 1996 (one of the very last produced), S2 coupe, 106000 miles. Full Audi service history upto 840000 miles, independant thereafter. Cambelt done at 77000 miles.
Ragussa Green, air con, electric roof, black leather, carbon trim, Alpine ipod connection CD head unit, with uprated alpine speakers in standard locations. Alpine V12 amp and 12" inphase sub enclosure available by separate negotiation.
Modifications;
Homefries ECU.
Prospeed stainless 2.5" full system with decat pipes (cats have been put back on for recent MOT test which they passed).
Complete set of Roose motorsport hoses (water and boost).
Porsche 911 brake callipers up front with 314mm A8 discs
Rear Tarox G88 discs with ferodo DS2500 pads.
Audi A8 17" wheels with Pirelli P Zero Rosso`s 235/45/ZR17 (tyres have done 2000 miles only).
De-chromed surround on front grill.
Car has a Cobra cat 1 alarm and immobliser.
Recent new parts include; new battery, new drivers side rear brake calliper, front drivers side wishbone and anti roll bar drop link. Oil just changed with Millers CFS.
I have owned the since july last year. I bought it from Cameron Clark from Fangfoss York who had it in dry storage for nearly 2 years. The car has had very little use in Cameroon`s and my ownership as it is used as a second car and only comes out during dry weekends, (car is garaged). Between last MOT`s the car has done about 2000 miles.
When i bought the car it had a spot of rust on the drivers side front wing where the bumper meets, so i have had a brand new wing fitted and sprayed, at the same time i had all the wing and door trim rub strips repainted as the paint had begun the peel in places.
The bodywork is in excellent condition for its age. I have machine polished the complete car with Autoglym products and polished it regularly. I often get comments from people saying how clean the car looks.
For its last MOT July 27th it only required an anti roll bar drop link and the cats refitting
for it to pass. Advisories were near/offside front brake hose slightly deteriorated and surface corrosion to rear subframe.
Car has 5 months tax.
Everytime I drive this car it puts a huge smile on my face, I wish i could keep it but we are expecting our first child, own another car and a motorbike so it has to go to make way for an Audi A4 tdi avant.
The car is in Launceston Cornwall PL15 9LN. I urge all serious buyers to come and view the car as the pictures do not do it justice, I looked at several before I bought this one and its the cleanest example I have ever seen. Also had ellipsoid headlight rechromed.
Faults; Trip LCD in dash has a small bleed but still readable. I have picked up a stonechip on passenger side headlight glass and has splinter across the glass.
Price; I paid £5600 for it last year and have spent money on the bodywork and maintaining it totalling about £1000, so I will accept an offer of or near £5600.
I also have a brand new set of RS2 injectors and a mint condition RS2 intercooler and cross member available by separate negotiation.
