hopefully you'll forgive my first post being a for sale ad, when i point out im trying to sell the car so i can look for a suitable S2 Avant.
This car should have worn a GTI badge, its that good.
130bhp in a Seat Ibiza. Add in the sport suspension (better than any aftermarket kit I've ever owned) and you've got a really lively road going go kart. So why am I selling? I need something with a boot to carry the dog about in.
About the Car:
53 plate
130 bhp 1.9 TDI (red DI if that means anything to you)
Sport Suspension
6 Speed Gearbox.
52 MPG on a run.
£120 a year tax
group 5 insurance.

140k on it. I know everyone says this, but 6 months of the last 4 years were 80 mway miles a day and the rest was 40 mway miles and 20 a road miles a day.
cambelt and water pump in Feb this year. 55k miles til next needs doing.
bluetooth kit by novero, controls phones and streams tunes from phone.
Its actually not the worst first car in the world, what with the low ins group and high mpg.
Its been with me (and the mrs) 4 years and 70k. its never once let us down. Its only ever needed a Selector Forks issue repairing, which is common with the gearbox on this. its been serviced yearly by me or a vag employed mate, MOTd at the dealer and anything its needed has been done on the drive at home.
stuff that needs doing.
intermittent wipers havent worked since the day i bought it. needs a stalk, but never really worried me.
I'm open to part exes, primarily anything with a boot, but try me. bigleem has persuaded me that i want an s2 or an s4 avant. just not sure i'll be able to gather enough cash to add to what this sells for to get me into an S4. edit: should add, i'll probably be able to get near on a grand cash together, so that should make it obvious what i could px it with.
