Hi all,
For sale: My 1992 UrS4, completely stock. Currently has 172,300 miles, 8 months MOT and two months tax, but I am happy to come to an agreement with the buyer about that.
In the last 18 months the following parts have been fixed or replaced:
New gearbox and centre differential;
New timing belt and tensioner;
Reconditioned alternator;
2 new tyres;
New rear diff mounts;
New rear discs and pads;
New battery;
Various bushes, bulbs and other parts.
It has also had new fuel, oil and air filters and an oil change in the last 1000 miles. It doesn't burn any oil which isn't bad on a twenty year old car and pulls like a train with the correct boost levels from the turbo. It has had an aftermarket stereo fitted, with a 10 CD autochanger in the boot and comes with a set of roofbars worth £100. There's even a detachable tow hook in the boot, but I have no idea if the wiring works.
The bad points are that the paintwork is several shades of red and there is some crazing on the bonnet and roof. There is some rust on the bootlid, but not significant and all panels are galvanised so it shouldn't spread. The rear light cluster leaks and I can't figure out where from. The onboard computer screen flickers, but it's only a loose connection somewhere as it shows clearly occasionally. Finally the headlining is sagging a bit over the boot, but it's not affecting rear visibility or the rear headroom.
Any more information or any questions, drop me a PM. I'm located in South West London near Wandsworth.
