B4 80 2.0 16v Quattro Saloon, VERY high spec Rare car

right, havent had the car long and dont really want to sell it, but i just simply dont use it

car is a vary rare 2.0 16v Quattro saloon in Panther Black

i spent 2 months getting the car to run right, and perform outstandingly, and was RR`d last month at 144.7BHP from the 6a engine

all sensors and fuel metering equiptment are working and calibrated to perfection

various wiring harness issues have been rectified to stop them arcing out and being a fire risk!!

Spec that i can see or know of:

S2 bumpers front and rear (wrong colour)
    4x electric windows
cat 1 alarm/remote central locking with certificate
Quattro script grey interior, not great but just needs a clean
    S2/RS2 Carbon Fibre!
    S2 steering wheel
Aux gauges fitted and all working (Black fitted, have white faced if wanted with sale)
    Black headcloth and plastics
    Elec sunroof
5 or 6 interior lights, all working as they should
    Diff Lock
ABS turn off button, yes on a B4!!!
Very close ratio gearbox, car flies off the mark when launched, suprisingly fast it really is.
Private plate (valued at £570 when i enquired about exchanging it for another one)

Full stainless steel exhaust, sounds great
jetex airbox, sounds MENTAL at high revs!
setup perfectly, did i mention 144.7bhp...... lol (136 standard!)

suspension is very tight and stiff, unknown components but works perfectly (o/s/f knocks now and again, top mount? nothing obvious)
    2 recent quality front wishbones
    brakes perfectly, no noises

Kenwood CD player, excelent sound quality and lights up red like the heater controls

just had 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax, advised windscreen and tyre

was going to 5 stud the car and put 18`s on it so wasnt bothered

Super reliable car, always starts no matter what weather is like, hot or cold.

long distance it is excelent on fuel#

Uber comfortable to drive and loves being driven on motorways
i have been to newcastle twice and down to portsmouth, never faulted once and is a pleasure to drive

i dont want to sell the car but i just pull it in and out of my garage to get to the A4 and its not doing the car any justice, so i think he should be enjoyed by someone who will use him

ive just spent £60 on 5 litres of Mobil One oil!
also new oil filter and bought a set of PFR6B platinum plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm etc

    things that it needs:
rear elec door cards, wrong door cards on rear at present, everything works as it should though.
some pannels are different shades in certain light, maby how they were painted?!
small scrape on rear lower door
    screen advisory on MOT
rev counter reads wrong, think it has V6 clocks?!

i personaly would put a pair of S2 avant seats in the front and 4x door cards as im not happy with them, but they were on when i got the car, i then fitted the carbon fiber strips and dash bit i purchased.

some pictures, looks loverly when washed and polished, sadly not in these pics, crap blackberry pics.

looking for £1500, bargain at this spec and rarity of the car and for the time and love ive lavished into the car over the past few months, if i was charging for the hours id spent rectifying problems, i would be after V10 R8 money PMSL!!!

Some pictures................. (will happily take more if requested)

Like i said, dont want to sell the car but it stands me well into £2k now and i just dont use it, although i love the car to bits, i just want someone to appreciate him

    any questions please ask,

    i would swop for a VW camper, Bay/T2 T25 or T3

logbook, MOT all present and correct
this car is ment to be one of 5 2.0 16v Quattro`s in the UK!!

Its rarer than that, I've seen 2x 16v quattro's that have been broken up for spares in the uk. One was on audifans years ago, the other on ebay.

So thats where my car went I think you will struggle to sell it for that price. I went down to a LOT less and didnt have a nibble on it
Not wishing to seem rude but it hasnt really changed from when i had it. A rare car which should be worth that price.
Someone was looking for a 80 quattro (not Quattro, thats a razor ) to make into a S2 rep.

Shaun, when i got the car off Peter i was a bit deflated,
had to do a massive list of things, wasnt impressed as i thaught it`d just fly a test and id be off, but noooooooooo lol
i had the dash out, changed a lot of the harness that was about to set fire,

it nor starts and runs without abusing the throttle, no flames or missfires, carbon trim, MOT repairs (front wishbones, front bearing, wipers, Emissions are now not 9.99%CO2 etc)

Sunroof now works without bending the roof,
boot seal replaced and no pond in the boot,
Gauges now work as they should due to faulty gauge and wiring issues
a LOT of time spent massaging the engine, see the dyno graphs.................
rev counter will work fine after this weekend with 4cyl clocks fitted
seats are getting replaced after the weekend with S2 ones,
            S2 carbon trims inside
            cam cover gasket replaced
steam cleaned underbonnet as it was caked with mud
replaced bonnet cable seal, pissed water in like the boot
the list is endless, BUT it now has tax and MOT it didnt when you were selling it, this is a big thing for people

everything works, paint the bumpers, 5 stud hubs, perfect car

if it doesnt sell, fine wont cost me anything as insurance, mot and tax are all paid up

i dont mind either way, and i hopefully collect a Competition rear spoiler this weekend from Will, so im still interested as i do love the car to bits

i think its worth every penny now, hopefully it does sell, if it does great, if not, it`ll keep untill the snow, donut time!

            Skull,
i spend about a month on the car sorting air leaks, nackered throttle bodie (fitted 2.3 10v turbo item)
setting up ignition timing, and emissions and fuel pressure.
All are within factory specs, but towards the higher end of the scale, base CO is now at 1.8% and pressure voltage is 5Ma i think, ignition timing is still at static 6degrees, although it does happily run on 10 with no pre-ignition, but for safety its at 6.

i am bidding on a set of ABF cams, with these and 10degrees it should sniff 180bhp no problems.

PM me if you want to mate

            Sean.

Dont get me wrong, im sure you have done lots of work to the car and made it spot on
Yes having an MOT and tax will defo help sell it. It had been stood for nearly 2 years in my ownership so i knew it would need abit to get it throught an MOT
When i first got the car it had silly chrome trims all over it (handbrake lever, around air vents etc) and red LED lights (even a KITT light bar under the front bumper)
Now its in the enthusiast's circle im sure it will become the car it deserves to be

i hope so, its just the bumpers, and wheels/suspension but im on that as we speak,

should be on coilies soon, cometition spoiler, and 17/18" compomotive MO`s

not a bad car, just silly silly things that added upto a big shopping list, as usual lol

are you doing that before you sell it? If you do you wont want to sell it
I only drove it 15 miles but was very suprised how low geared it was, very quick of the line

im always spending money on cars, for sale or not, bit silly but there you go lol

gearbox is very very good off the mark!

cant fault it, except the knock every now and again, although i think it may be the airbox, since i put some rubber bushes in it hasnt returned

if it dont go by christmas on here, i will just keep it, paint it and see what happens next summer
