I'm glad I hope he gets it. Just think guys every one that sells for a lot of money pushes up the price of ours!!!
The demand WILL go up as more get broken.....Comment

Rs2 money that!
Well, at least the one for sale recently in Ireland...
And Jamo only wanted £8k for his weapon.
My brother owned this a few years ago whe I had my green Rs2
He bought it from Philip Walker - and that was a good price.
Sure it started with a 4...
Wonder if the paint had been done- it was all milky on the bonnet/wing...
The door strips in the pic looked ropey.Comment

pushing prices is a brave move but in a country where nearly all of are items are imported and costs are as near to being fixed due to shipping costs, its no wonder we have no money due to weak sellers thinking that slashing your margin and just turning stock over will help you stay in business.
as these cars become very rare and the price of fixing them increases its good to see a viable priceComment

Not sure about viable?
I am not trying to put a dampener on prices of S2's
Equally anyone who has an S2 wants to see the prices high.
But there is no stability in prices.
It's ridiculous some of them recently been for sale around the £2k mark. That's nonsense money.
And then you get extremes. £7 k for this
Even running on standard brakes- the Alcons it came with were swiped....
And just read the ad again - "looking for a new owner to give it TLC it deserves" :
No thanks.
I would sooner make an offer on the £3995 one here
A pm has been sent.Comment

when some one leads others will follow like the 14k rs2 that has sat around for nearly a year but all the 12 and 13 k models have sold
as you explained in your post there are cars for 2k and below but you have now jumped on one for 4k even though 3k has been the average price of s2 selling on piston heads
due to his crazy price a model that is 1k above average is now a good price.
i thank him as he has now made our cars more valuableComment

As mentioned, this was my car a few years ago....a good solid car,i liked it. Had 'regular'
S2 brakes though as well as paint blemishes on the bonnet that where actually under the laquer.....oh,and it certainly did not feel as though it was runnung 300 plus bhp.
Not trying to put the car down as its still a rare car and no problem with attempting to raise the profile/prices of these always overlooked cars, but not anywhere near 7k to me.Comment
