Pearl White 3B S2 - Snapped Belt. Cheap

    1990/1 Audi S2 (3B) on a H plate - possibly one of the earliest S2s out there

    Tax: Jan 2014
    MOT: Aug 2013
    Mileage: 160k

Selling as it has snapped its timing belt and bent some valves . I re-assembled with a new lower sprocket and belt and it starts and runs on four cylinders. Before the incident the engine ran perfectly. This was my daily driver so I just want rid as I have plenty of project cars and have just bought a v6 cabrio to replace.

    Mechanical
    + Stainless exhaust with decat
+ No clunks or rattles when going over bumps or around corners
+ Good brakes and no handbrake issues
    - Gearbox has stripped teeth on 1st gear, so makes a fair bit of noise. Hasn't been an issue for me.

    Interior:
+ Full black leather with perforated trim
    + S2 steering wheel
    + Good carpet
+ Red lighting in all switches and instruments
    - Mismatched colour parcel shelf
    - Mould on headlining, needs a good clean!
    - Instruments peeling, could use new faces
    - Will not come with CD player

    Exterior:
    + Electric Sunroof, works perfect
    + Pop-out rear windows
+ No issues with electric windows
    + Pearl white!
+ Refurbed 5 spoke wheels (The spare hasn't been refurbed) with good tyres. Unfortunately since the refurb there is now Kerbing on 2/4 wheels, fairly serious on the drivers front side but not buckled or out of balance
    - Rust hole on drivers side wing
    - Minor rust at the top of the windscreen
    - Colour match is not 100% on some panels

    Work done in my ownership:
+ New front drivers side wishbone
    + New rear wheel bearing
+ New radiator due to a pinhole leak in the previous one

I am looking for £1500. Or will drop to £1300 if you don't want the new tax disc. I'd advise trailering it away....but if you want you can drive it home at your risk! (misfiring all the way)

And that was probably the shortest for sale post in history....

          Provisionally sold.

Thats ok pal, but you have bad mouthed me in the past thinking i was my old man, regardless you shouldnt be bad mouthing him either. Supergeeks on here get all defensive about breaking old audi's, they are only lumps of metal at the end of the day, and not even that good, but it keeps you lads in cheap supply of parts!

i guess it'll be another 6 months before i return to this forum, it seems i can only take the ignorance of some poeple in small doses. ciao!
