Hi all, not posted on here for a while, been busy with new job & stuff. Anyway, decided to sell the coupe.
Audi Coupe 2.8E quattro in red, good condition, 146,000 miles, MOT until Dec 2013, Tax until end June 2013, first registered Dec 93 on an L registration.
I have owned this car for nearly 9 years and has genuinely been trouble free for most of them, it had a cam sensor need replacing few years ago but thats about it! When I was looking for a 2.8cq all those years ago, I had a look at about 5 or 6 before finding this one (there was more choice back then!), I had to wait for the right car and travel up North to get it.
For the last few years its been a 2nd or 3rd car for us, hence why it just doesn't get used (it's only done about 300 miles since last MOT). We've also got a large dog so need an avant ideally so unfortunately, the quattro has to go.
Spec includes:
The rare 2.8 litre 174ps engine (definately worth buying over the smaller 150ps 2.6L engine)
Black cloth "quattro" script front & rear seats
Audi A8 17" blade style replica alloys.
Falken 452 tyres front, Dunlop SP Sport rears.
HIDS
H&R springs, lowers car approx 35-40mm
MIJ Stainless steel (single cat) exhaust system with twin outlets (sounds sweet!)
Service history with last service (oil,filter,brake fluid) at 135,000 miles
Bad points:
Drivers side window is very slow, sometimes needs a helping hand up again
Heated rear window element and electric wing mirrors not working
Very small signs of rust/bubble around window
CAT scrapes on speedbumps due to being lowered.
Small crack/flex in rear bumber, nothing much, but worth mentioning.
Rear subframe an advisory at last MOT
With a small amount of time & money it wouldn't take much to get the car back up to scratch again, unfortunately..I have neither..lol
Looking for offers around £1550.00 or possible p/x on an avant (plus cash either way). I've already had a firm offer of £1300.00 but can't let it go for that low.
