Seem's cheap, what wrong with it?

Rusty, dials are peeling, probably a whole host of other issues. Also I would be wary of buying a car with a rebuilt engine without a lot of info.

Usual story with cheap S2s, moneypit to get it right?

I might go take a look at it once its been up for a while longer.

Also very expensive when you compare it to Johns red one that was £2k!

How come? It was up for £2000.

Don't know how the price went up, perhaps it included delivery. The buyer was still waiting for an update the last I heard.

I happened to be in Edinburgh so went to have a sniff. It needs work!
Every panel had either rust or scratches, lots of little bits of trim missing, not much in terms of paperwork although he claims to have looked after it. Engine sounded ok but had a noisy PAS pump. It's not been driven much and it shows. I didn't even bother driving it but no doubt there'll be other hidden gremlins. Hate to say it but it's probably better off as a breaker.

I nearly bought this last week, was going to have it collected but the seller wouldn't take cash? wanted the collector to take him to the bank and deposit it first or something, got a bit confusing so thought fck off
there is such thing as a timewaster seller
