An opportunity has arisen for me to buy a mint Ur so my S2 is now for reluctant sale.
I wanted to post it here first as I would like it to go to a fellow Audi enthusiast.
It's a Laser red, early 1993 ABY Coupe 6 spd with black leather and 138,000 miles. It was originally sold in March '93 and imported into Ireland in June '04. It has done 2,000 miles since I bought it in Sept '11. It has a full service history to 127.000 miles with an independent garage looking after it up until my ownership.
I bought the car as a project as it needed the usual Audi jobs like suspension bushes, top mounts and peeling speedo.
I have a full set of Delrin suspension bushes, street density top mounts, solid alloy subframe mounts, rear diff mounts and a full TFSI coil conversion kit, all from 034 Motorsport that I never got round to fitting, which are included in the sale.
The front wings and bonnet were resprayed in 2009 which highlights the older paintwork on the rest of the car. I planned to do a full respray and hence have never used any T cut, polish or compound on it, under orders from my paint expert who didn't want me to put any silicone, wax or other crap onto the paintwork.
I fitted disks and pads all round when I bought it, along with timing belt, water pump, crank bolt and all ancillary belts, along with a couple of oil changes.
It's currently fitted with a set of 16'' Avus wheels but I have its original Ronal? wheels also.
Apart from me de-catting it (cat not needed for NCT) the car is standard and original to the best of my knowledge.
