My N/S rear door has loads of dents now from people parking next to my car and opening their doors without any care. To them its just an old car but to me it's a lot of hours, sweat and battered knuckles gone into it let alone the finances.Life is a rollercoasterComment

Not that the bodywork on my car is worthy of worrying about, but I always try to get an end space so at least only one muppet can park beside you. Better still if you can get one on the N/S, most people will drive into a space, meaning if they are alone they will open their door to the other side with no risk of hitting your car. OK if they have a passenger or worse kids, then you're ******ed but it minimises the chances
I suppose this is why there are so many that park in the parent\child spaces when they have no kids (with them at least).
