after removing the exhaust and wheels and sticking it on zw1's , il now be putting the exhaust and bbs back on for a possible (i say that without holding my breath) weekend viewing

You need to keep it mate. I have just had couple of weeks hol. Returned and love my s2 again. I had come close to getting rid recently but realise what a great car it is! Especially with her new facelift. (Ellipsoids).
