Stumpy's Widebody Track Car For Sale

    Hi all,

Sorry, not a regular poster on here...

I've been struggling with keeping/selling the car for what seems like ages. I cannot justify keeping it any longer, as I dont get the chance to use it, so it's definitely for sale now! It's a shame as it's such a good car to drive, and with some CF goodies coming out shortly, I know I'd want to replace the body panels with lighter ones.

Had it out at Castle Combe yesterday, and it was a hoot. The roll cage and corner weigting have made a massive difference to the way it behaves. Very surprising for an Audi!!

It may well take some time to move on, due to it's Specs, and now the time of year, but I'm not in a rush. I'll be wrapping it up and leaving it in the garage now till it sells.

The car's going to have a few bits tidied up prior to the sale - the driver's side ballast needs swapping over and the exhaust is to be changed. The current 3" system is just too large, and therefore low-hanging. Niall's 3" DPs are going on along with a new XS catback system.

The car (1999/S4) underwent a respray to Nissan GTR Gunmetal Grey which is amazing in the sunlight.
The car has been stripped/lightened (1440kgs with 1/2 a tank of fuel) and corner weighted, and isn't like most Audi's ie lots of understeer, it handles very well indeed.

The car is taxed and MoT'd/fully road legal. I should stress it's been built for the track (hard suspension, no insulation/heater etc).

There is an immense list of upgrades for this car and am happy to field any questions you might have. Some of the upgrades include:

    AST Coilovers
Porsche 996TT front calipers with Carbone Lorraine RC5 pads & RS6 discs
    Audi B7 RS4 rear calipers & discs
    Neuspeed RARB + RS2 droplinks
    FMIC
    PJ RS6 Turbos
3" custom dual exhaust system (turbo back) - see note above
K&N Large cone air filter with heatshield
    Siemens 660cc injectors
    Bosch 044 Fuel pump
    RS4 Inlet Manifold & system
OEM RS4 body panels (front bumper, side skirts, rear doors, front wings, rear 3/4s)
Seibon carbon fibre bonnet (cost £1000 alone to buy/fit)
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels in Anthracite (18x9 ET20)
    Federal 595RSR tyres
    034 GB Mounts
    034 Engine Mounts
    034 subframe mounts
    Devil's Own Water Meth injection
    6 point Willans harnesses
    Custom welded-in roll cage
Motordrive Carbon/Kevlar bucket seats (only 4kgs each)
    Replaced dished steering wheel
    Flocked dashboard
    Short Shifter
    Polycarbonate windows (side and rear)
    Custom air vent
    ESP DTS
    New clutch
    Fidanza LWFW
    Fully polybushed

New cambelt, water pump and thermostat was changed in the last year, along with a full service.

    Things it needs? Nothing.
Things I'd do if I weren't selling? I'd change the control arms, put on a Quaife, change the exhaust manis for Niall's and a remap. Job done. An easy 500+ safe car, that handles amazingly well.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

As to cost, I'm advertising it for £15,000, as there hasn't been one built or sold to this Specs before. I've spent over £20k including the car. I obviously am not asking for that amount, but gives an indication as to the costs involved getting to this point. Happy to discuss/negotiate with anyone who is serious - I've had offers recently for £13,000...

I could potentially be interested in a px for the right car, but would definitely include cash my way.

What next? Something less extreme for sure. Possibly an A3/A4 tdi for Ze Fuhrer. Not sure for me. I do have a hankering for something large, but there are lots of cars out there I like such as the E46 M3 :shh: ops:

I'd much rather sell the car to someone from the community, but I'll also be placing an ad on PH and other forums shortly.
