This must be sold by now, a standard tdi estate is worth about £500-1000. With all the parts on it, £1000 is cheap.

Sorry im not after one tho

        Cheers bud.

For £1500 you could have all the parts to turn this back to stock plus loads more bits to sell. Sell the standard car for £1000 all the s2 parts for £1500+ and then all the other spares to sell too. If someone has some time n effort this could be a good money maker for someone. I just don't have the time and willpower to do this myself unfortunately.

Agreed, mot it and advertise it for £1500. Otherwise someone else is only going to buy it and sell off the nice bits on ebay and sell the car on as standard mere days later for a profit.

I'm always keeping an eye out for a second estate and I'd like to remain in the Audi stable, but there's no way I'd risk / want the hassle of a car with no mot, imagine other buyers would feel the same

So, how bad does it hunt? Are you always on the brakes? If it had an MOT I would be tempted to have a butchers with the S2 extras included....I've been after a diesel avant for a while but want something reliable.

Always on the the brakes? I'm not sure what you mean? The rpm's fluctuate from about 850-900 on tick over. Doesn't affect it when it's actually being driven. pm me if your interested in taking a look at the old gal mate.

This is ripe for a Landrover pump and m-tdi conversion!

                  What's that involve Jim?
Very interested as my tdi does the same.

Basically its using a mechanical operated injector pump with a throttle cable instead of letting the ECU control things. I have been doing a bit of research on it incase mine ever goes. Search the net for 1z m-tdi and similar and you will get plenty of results.

                    Some info I found - http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/19...opic45491.html

also found this interesting, maybe this is another option - http://www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/al...k3-tdi-engine/

                          Yep it's still here.

I would of loved to get this running properly because IMO it's such a cool looking car. Bored of driving past so many similar A4's now! A feeling I never got with B4 cars
