    2001 Avus RS4 (NWS)

    Yup, that time has come.
Pains me to do it, it really does and I've had to do a lot of soul searching, but a new house is forcing my hand here.
Love this car and I can truly say it's the best car I've ever had.
Those who personally know me, know how I treat my cars and this car has been pampered in the 3 years I've owned it. Wanted for nothing.
It's been a toy for me, I have my B6 A4 as an everyday car.
A fair weather car and as such it's seen little rain in my ownership. I'm sad enough to check the weather forecast before deciding to take it out.
    Garaged.
It took me a while to find this when looking. The paintwork is immaculate, the interior is immaculate. You could eat your lunch off the engine.

    • 2001 on a Y plate (pre tax hike),
    • 107k miles,
    • Silver electric heated Recaros, just refurbished and look brand spanking new. No wear, rips or holes.
    • Carbon trim,
    • RNS-D,
    • Bose,
    • Cruise control,
    • Tilt/slide pre-select sunroof,
    • Isofix rear child seat anchor (passenger side)
    • Brushed aluminium trim,
    • Aluminium wing mirrors,
    • Autodim rear view mirror,
    • Autodim wing mirrors,
    • Standard ECU (not mapped)
    • quattro GmbH suspension,
    • Full service history, main dealer and specialist,
    • All cams, tappets, tensioners, chains, belts, pulleys, pump and stat changed for new.
    • Oil changed every 5k using VAG platinum,
    • Recent new battery,
    • Recent new pollen filter,
    • ITG air filter, recently given a clean,
    • New front discs 2 years ago along with refurbed calipers and new pads.
    • New rear discs, exchange rear calipers (alu ones, not aftermarket iron) and pads 18 months ago,
    • RS4 logo mats front and rear and also one in the boot,
x-carlink connected to RNS-D giving usb/sd connectivity along with a blue tooth module for your phone which can also stream MP3's,
    • One touch/three blink indicator relay,
    • VW sunglasses holder in place of drivers grab handle,
    • B7 RS4 aluminium throttle, brake, clutch and footrest covers,
    • Double centre cupholder,
    • Passat V5 engine cover,
    • Porsche oil and water caps,
    • Expansion tank replaced,
    • Rear wiper refurbished with VAG service kit,
    • New rear door triangles fitted,
    • New steering wheel RS4 badge,
    • New front grille RS4 badge,
    • New centre front bumper grille (with new clips),
    • 10x19 MS007 wheels in silver, 5x112, ET35 running new 265/30/19 tyres. They required 15mm spacers all round and sit perfect in the arches with no rubbing anywhere. The tyres are a no name brand, which sounds bad, but I bought them as a stop gap before my ordered Michelins came in. Mytyres.co.uk lost my Michelins en-route and I got a refund. Not had time to sort anything else.

    • Full set of original RS4 hard alloys with new Federal tyres. In good condition with good centre caps.
I also have one soft type bare RS4 alloy that I was intending to bung in the rear instead of the compressor and goo (which is still present and correct)

We could maybe do a deal if you didn't want the MS007's.

Apart from the misfire codes it pulled when the cams were shot, this car has never pulled any other codes in my ownership. She's a good car and has never failed me ever.

9 months MOT, last MOT no advisories.
    Tax out end of august.
Number plate comes with the car.

    Bad points (minor)
    • 5 stone chips to front bumper (yes, just five, I counted)
    • Sometimes get a crackle from the rear nearside bose speaker. Not there all the time.

    £13k ovno.
Low ballers do one before trying.
    Sorry, not interested in px.

                    Yes Eric, 380ps/440nm (325 lbf·ft) at 6k rpm.
Very little lag and pulls like a train with no let up right to the rev limiter.
                    I'll miss it.

Sorry, not looking to acquire another car.
Reason for the sale is with the housing market starting to kick off again, I need to make the move to a bigger and better home. I'm 44 now, so only going to get a 20yr mortgage and need to put down as much as possible on the deposit. I've resisted for a few years too many already.
