    A3 1.9tdi quattro 5 door

Just thought i would post this here, as you never know you might be looking for a daily driver that's economical and still quattro!

I am selling my rare 2002 A3 1.9tdi quattro due to a job change and instead of getting a car allowance i will be getting a co car at the beginning of August. This has been my daily driver for the last 8 months or so and i can honestly say it's been brilliant it doesn't rattle and drives amazingly well, never missed a beat and returns around 51mpg, not bad for a car that has just turned 162k at the time of writing this. We took it to Austria in the winter skiing and even fully loaded on the way back it still returned over 50mpg and was a pleasure to drive.

It's finished in Crystal Blue with blue cloth interior, there is a little wear on the drivers seat bolster nearest the door (no holes just a bit scuffed) other than that the interior is fine i don't think it's been smoked in either, outside there is the odd mark here and there some bubbling on 3 of the 4 alloys and little rust creep starting to show on the bottom of the drivers door (can be common problem on these so i gather).

It has what i would call a full history which is made of Audi (both bills and stamped service book), Audi specialist, old mot's and then since i have owned it done the work myself and kept the bills and a spreadsheet of everything that i have done and the date and mileage, it's just been serviced including the Haldex oil and filter, along with pollen filter fully synthetic oil etc.

Air con blows cold, the rear wash and wipe work fine, the mirrors heat it all works fine in fact the only thing that doesn't is the headlamp wash I suspect the pump has gone. It uses no coolant and gets through a litre of oil every 10k (which is the service regime i have used), I Mr Muscled the turbo when I first got it and use Millers diesel additive everytime I fill up.

It's MOT'd until February 2015, you need to buy your own tax these days thanks to the DVLA! last mot no advisories at all. It's an original car that hasn't been messed with, I was tempted to have it mapped but decided against it as it's nice as it is. Price wise now £1650. Winter bargain for someone!!! Car is in Sussex if you want to have a look. Any questions please ask or call 077888 09780

    Cheers
    Ian
