Haven't been on for a while due to circumstances. The very same circumstances that are forcing this advert :/
For sale is my 80 quattro.
I converted it to RWD do have some fun.. I had ALOT of fun in this car
and its surprisingly good at the whole "drifting" malarky.
Heres the spec : ( will list faults at the end )
.94' 2.6 ABC V6 in Rubin Red metalic
.159k miles
.MOT till March 15 (no tax due to new laws)
.Serviced 6 months ago including bottom arms, bushes, ball joints and top mounts
.Front shafts removed
.Center torsen diff welded(locked) to send 100% drive to the rear wheels.
.Factory diff lock still in place, but disabled the speed pulse wire so it doesn't disengage at 15mph (preferred this to welding the rear diff like most skidders)
.Deep dish steering wheel (like a rally car !!!!)
.Black quattro script interior in very good condition
.Paint work is in fairly good nick apart from a bit of crazing on the wings and bonnet, has a deep scratch in the drivers side wing, and a dent in the rear tailgate (previous owner)
.Has a completely bodged straight through exhaust and decat.
.will come with 2 sets of 4 17" alloys, currently 2 of each on the car.
.Engine is bomb proof and ive never had any issues with it.
bad bits :
.Needs a new master cylinder I think, all calipers are dry with no leaks, but a couple of random times the pedal has gone soft as ******y and dropped to the floor. then mysteriously comes back to normal.
.Still has a clonk from underneath when coming onto load and when coming off load, was told by a garage that it was the centre prop bearing. (I have a new prop inc in sale)
All in all i love the car, and i had big plans for it .. due to some pretty serious stuff going on in my life at the moment.. it needs to go :/
Would make a great fun project .. or a brilliant donor car for someone.
If the asking price is met, I will throw in a SHED load of parts/spares ..
to list a few :
Spare 5 speed quattro box
Spare s2 rear diff and diff lock
Spare centre diff (welded and needs putting back in the housing)
Spare s2 front bumper
spare s2 washer jets
spare standard front bumper
spare ecu's
and loads of other little bits.
Front struts converted to coilovers, waiting for springs
2 x 3 spoke leather sports steering wheels
Im asking £550 including every single Audi spare I have in the shed.
So theres a decent amount of money to be made for someone and the asking price could be made back easily just on a few of the above spares.
please no messers or timewasters :/ as i dont want to sell it ... but it needs to go this month :/
