As some of you may know im losing my workshop very soon, and with NO place to keep my cars only option is to sell. Once of which is my Audi Coupe Quattro V8 conversion.
The car is in very good condition for the year, and i believe this coupe is the only one in the country running a V8 on standard OE management, so quite rare. My plans were to do shows next year and let others see the car, but my situation has changed and its with GREAT regret i have to sell.
Firstly i want £3300 for the car- The car and the parts i bought came to more than this alone, let alone the 100s of hours spent on it. Has 12 months MOT! I think this is a very fair price.
So the spec is as follows;
Mileage 140k on car
Audi A8 ABZ 4.2 V8, 299BHP (160K)
New timing belt, tensioners, water pump,Thermostat, AUX belt, gaskets galore this year
01A Quattro gearbox
034 Motorsports Flywheel/adapter
Southbend s4 clutch
Landrover V8 engine mount rubbers, custom platforms
Airbox and cone filter
V6CQ PS pump and original bomb set up, Pump replaced with genuine part 2 weeks ago.
Powerflex Rear diff mount
A custom chip in the ECU to block limp mode
Diagnotics for ECU as standard- so faults can be read with any OBD reader.
Immobilizer defeated.
Jetex S2 back box
custom made exhaust pipe work from Headers to Back box Including X-pipe and Y-piece.
Original CATs still fitted, Lambda sensors all wired in and working as standard
New radiator and twin electric fans.
Everything else is standard on the car. Electric windows, fog lights, rear diff lock Etc all working.
The Rev counter works, but reads a few hundred RPM out, but never got round to making a Tach adaptor as it didn’t bother me too much.
Obviously the car is 22 years old now, and has a few age related marks but in general is very good. The Body is straight, a couple of small dents. The subframes are rot free, as the rear was re furbished 2 years ago buy previous owner. Heater works perfecly, cables are free, and NO sign of the matrix leaking
It drives spot on, doesn’t pull, brakes in a straight line, has no rattles and the V8 runs as it should and sound the dogs.
I have a folder full or invoices old mots, two keys etc.
